Hi Sherin, You can consider doing BA, BCOM(H), or BBA and select HR as a specialization subject. If there are super specialization subjects like Organisational Development, Labour Laws pursue it. While pursuing graduation take up some internships. For post-graduation do MBA -HR from A-grade B School get placed on campus, and everything will fall into place for you or else after graduation, you can take some practical work experience in the HR field and gradually learn and grow in the field. If you want to work on some skills needed for HR watch this video (here). Hope it helps!

Hi Sherin, After 12th you can take up degrees like BBA, BA in HRM, BA in psychology, or any other BA/B.Com degree. What is more important, is that you either try to get placed with an HR department after your bachelor’s degree, or, you do further studies and pursue an MBA (specialising in HR). MBA is a good way to get started in your HR career.
Hi Sherin. If you wish to take up a career in HR then after 12th you can do Bcom, it would really help you since human resource management is a chapter there separately and you can also take up a few internships in HR domain, it would give you an insight of how it actually works and will help you perform the roles and responsibility of your job ahead and you can later go to a college specifically to pursue your interest in the field of HR.
Hello Sherin! HR professional is a great career choice. But firstly consider completing your studies. You can pursue BBA, BCOM(H), BA, etc after which you can definitely go forward with your MBA (specializing in HR). A degree will help you get your career getting started in HR and it will be easier to find jobs. Also while graduating, you can look for part-time internships in HR to gain additional knowledge and experience. If you want to work on some skills needed for HR watch this video (https://seekho.ai/video/what-are-the-skills-and-tools-needed-to-be-successful-in-hr-/VI-131-21756). Hope it helps!
