Hello Vanshika. If you want to prepare for management consulting roles.
Get good with solving cases and guesstimates and all this you can get at Seekho through subscribing to the premium select memberships or their youtube channels. To get good at cases, you need to solve cases from case books like Case interviews, and Case in point.
Other than that for the resume, you need a certain spike from your academics, technical knowledge, sports, or extracurricular activities.
Hi Vanshika, you already have a very strong profile. In order to shift to management consulting or strategy, you need to start prepping for case interviews and guesstimates in order to excel in the interviews. You could read up cases on the websites of top consulting firms to get more idea about the management strategy domain. Even better, you could do an internship in this domain too hoping for a PPO. Stay active on LinkedIn and use your personal connections. Hope this helps.
Great to know and all the best for the finals!
For getting in a Consulting Firm through off-campus recruitment drives- Consulting Firms do hire via on-campus placement drives is true but they only hire via on-campus placement drives is not. Mostly all of the consulting firms do also have off-campus recruitment drives/lateral hiring going on throughout the year. For the same, keep an eye on the LinkedIn job portal, their career pages and LinkedIn posts by the employees at these firms. One thing that could help here is tapping people for referrals! Since consulting is more of a 'Generalist's Job', knowledge in any and every industry would be relevant and in fact, diverse industry expertise is always better for the firm which is why internships/live projects would be much more useful than any course. Besides, it is never too late. We, at Seekho, are here to help you on your journey. :)
