Honestly, “Financial Analyst” is a really broad term. A financial analyst can work in the field of Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking and many more. A job in core finance would require you to be versed with Financial Modelling, Corp. Finance, and principles of Valuation. Since you already have an MBA, on paper you’re a step ahead from your peers who’d be applying with a bachelor’s degree only. At this stage you should focus on which specific area, within finance, you want to work at and start shaping yourself (and your resume) for that domain. Try to ask people for interviews with the people you’ve interacted with during your undergrad and MBA curriculum.
