Hi Priyanka If you have a master's degree in HR, things are easy and you can be directly in. In case you are a fresh college graduate, then look for a more junior position as an HR assistant or something similar. One can grow in the HR domain gradually by doing, learning, and possibly obtaining an executive MBA in HR. Try to read as much as you can while working, This would be extremely beneficial because an HR's job entails all human/emotional components such as salary, hiring, payroll, training, and so on. With or without a prior human resources degree, some HR managerial positions may require certification or membership in a professional organization. All you have to do now is prepare the finest resume and cover letter possible and ace the interview. If you need more information and the right guidance you can take help from our videos (here) at Seekho. All the best!
Hi Priyanka! One thing you can do is gain some experience in the field of HR to boost your CV. But before applying you have to explore what kind of work you are interested in or best suitable for, as HR also has a variety of verticals (Recruitment and Selection, HR Generalist, IT recruiter, HR operation, employee relation). Once you identify your interests it will be easier for you to find jobs/internships. Apart from this stay active on LinkedIn as there are a lot of people who can approach you, in that way you can build professional relationships with people working in your dream companies. If you need more information and the right guidance you can take help from our videos (https://seekho.ai/series/building-career-in-human-resources/SR-131-75) at Seekho. All the best!

Hi Priyanka, a good idea is to- 1. Draft a 1 page resume highlighting your internships/education/experience related to the HR field. 2. Connect with several HR managers on Linkedin- especially those who work in companies you want to work at. 3. Start talking to these HRs about your passion and interest- and at the same time keep applying to jobs of HR as well. You can write some cold emails too to HR managers asking if you can work with/under them. 4. HR has many fields- recruiting, talent acquisition, compliances, engagement, L&D, HRBP, etc. Evaluate which field interests you and talk about that in your cover letter. Hopefully this helps!
