Hi Ankit, in my opinion the answer to this question largely depends on your educational pedigree (MBA/undergrad) and your previous work experiences. Almost all of the consulting firms in India including the MBBs, Big 4, Accenture Strategy etc. hire laterally for experienced individuals. In case you have worked in the tech industry, whether it be as a Software developer, Data scientist, BI and insights analyst, I'd say you have an upper edge considering the current market trends. However, other (demonstrable) skillsets like growth, finance, sales and marketing are also valued to the fullest as long as you're sure with what you bring to the table and how can you make their life easier.... In case you're an undergrad and want to switch to consulting, the path with least friction would be to do an MBA from a top B-school in India (IIM ABC, XLRI, FMS etc.) where the consulting firms hire in huge numbers. Best of luck
