A liquidity ratio is a financial ratio that measures a company's ability to cover its short-term obligations with its liquid assets. The liquidity ratio also helps investors assess the ability of a company to meet obligations when they become due. The liquidity ratios are used by creditors and investors to figure out how good the company's short-term debt management is, whether it can service its interest payments on time and whether it has enough cash for operation.
