About The Team
The Business Finance team partners with the business team to drive growth sustainably. The team drives efficiency in the investment being made to drive top-line and bottom-line. Focus remains on improving category margins and minimizing financial risks by understanding the key business drivers, analyse key financial metrics, provide value add analysis, support to sales / finance management (budget analysis and financial forecasting)
About The Role
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyse financial data – and create financial models for decision support
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Ensure maintenance of Data archives for easy consumption whenever required
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with business and support teams to drive team objectives
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
- Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Qualification & Skills:
- Post-Graduate from a tier 1/ tier 2 University / business school
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Prior experience in ecommerce/online company or analytical company is preferred
- Strong analytical rigour and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proactive, takes initiative, self-motivated, team player
