Roles and Responsiblity
· Preparing financial statements, Financial Reports and Financial forecasts
· Ensuring that the organization's financial records and recordkeeping methods are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
· Preparing sales forecasting and other organizational reports
· Periodically review the organization's financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction
· Must be conversant with all accounting functions management as well as audit compliance
· Implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance
· Strong knowledge and experience of finance accounting systems
· Reporting to management regarding finances of the establishment
· Processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
· Invoicing and making regular follow ups for recovery and payments
· Maintaining bills from vendors. Checking, getting approval and coordinating for their payments
· Procuring bank statements monthly from all banks and preparing reconciliation statements
· Ensure compliance under Direct Tax regulations including routine tax payments, return filing as well as ensuring completion of tax audit, transfer pricing study and corporate tax returns
· Ensure compliance with Indirect tax including routine tax payments, return filing, refund claims under GST, compliance under FEMA and companies Act
· Strong ability to apply several accounting and reporting systems and analytical skills
· Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth/expansion and carry
Other Requirements
**Experience in Financial Modelling and Excel Programming is a Must**
· Should have experience in a similar domain of 1 to 5 years (including article-ship)
· Should be a CFA Qualified Professional
· Should have strong knowledge of US taxation, US Accounting and US compliances
· Should have good knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
· Should have a good exposure to Excel Programming, Google Sheets
· Should be proficient in MS Excel
· Should have good exposure to analytical modelling
· Should be well versed with accounting software Tally and QuickBooks
· Must have good analytical skills organised, a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with peers in team
· Experience in participating and collaborating in team meetings to gather/share information
· Ability to achieve individual and Business metrics
· Demonstrated experience in meeting all baseline and project goals for accuracy and timeliness.
· Solid project management and reporting skills with ability to manage complex situations and multiple priorities
· Proven experience to build and utilize reports to analyse pertinent account information
· Experience in collaboration and negotiation with customers, sales field, and finance functions to achieve improvements
· Working knowledge to identify and implement action plans and process improvements with mentorship
· Strong English verbal/written communication is must with an ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
· Should be a multi-tasker with an eye to detailed orientation
