Roles and Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership and supporting to deliver warehouse design and automation solutions to enhance productivity and minimize costs.
  • Collaborating with the commercial team to develop resourcing and feasible automation business case solutions.
  • Developing network and fleet optimization models using state of the art tools.
  • Optimizing the benefits of state-of-the-art designs by enhancing technology solutions, whilst demonstrating the commercial viability.
  • Building fleet network models and routing proposals using available modelling tools.
  • Able to influence the design of distribution centres, inventory, fleet mix and demand management.
  • Develop scenario to test the most commercially viable solutions.
  • Support in the creation and response to RFQ's
  • Support the team in the continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure accurate and clearly costed proposals defining any cost benefits.
  • Develop vendors and work on Automation solutions to deliver commercially solutions.

Other Requirements

  • Must have a well-rounded knowledge in distribution centre facility design, materials handling, inventory modelling, forecasting, and planning, developing automation business cases.
  • Being able to collaborate with other team members within Asia Pacific, world-class professional services team of solutions architects, supply chain analysts and consulting associates who will develop customer-centric commercially viable supply chain solutions.
  • Degree involving commercial & or analytical skills, e.g., engineering/computing/business analytics.
  • Exposure to distribution and fleet networks using Llamasoft/ Ortec will be added advantage.
  • An organized and systematic approach to work, and high attention to detail.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to support in the production of tender/RFQ proposals.
